Exam Structure

The exam is made up of a written part (collective) and an oral part (individual).

Written part

The Written Part is made up of four textual production tasks that cover more than one component or skill of use of the Portuguese Language and that require the participant to write a record in Portuguese, based on diversified inputs. The Written Part must be completed within three hours, according to the following table:

The audio and video will be presented twice, uninterrupted, and the participant must complete the tasks in the total time available for the exam.

Oral Part

The Oral Part consists of a face-to-face interaction between the participant and the evaluator-interlocutor, lasting 20 minutes.

The Oral Part is made up of two stages, the first of 5 minutes and the second of 15 minutes, according to the table below. The first stage consists of a planned conversation based on the information recorded by the participant in their registration, and the second stage consists of three moments of conversations about texts of various genres, which mix verbal and non-verbal language, called “Provocative Elements.” (EPs) (photos, cartoons, etc.).
