Preparatory Course

This preparation course lasts 40 to 60 hours and prepares the student to take the Portuguese language knowledge exam. It is offered twice a year, before the administration of the Celpe-Bras exam, for students who have an intermediate or advanced level in Portuguese (250 minimum hours).

This training has proven its effectiveness, since the students have registered a 95% acceptance level in the Celpe-Bras in the last exams.

Methodology

The teaching methodology of the preparatory course considers the student's current level of Portuguese and specifically works on all the aspects involved in the exam: reading comprehension, written expression, grammar and vocabulary, listening comprehension and oral expression. Through various exercises that familiarize the student with the exam, strategies are developed and guidelines are given that will increase the probability of understanding and interpreting the instructions appropriately, optimizing and reducing the time it takes to solve them. A high value and emphasis is placed on practical work to bring the student closer to the reality of the exam. The course is training to know and perform in the exam; it is a fundamental requirement to have studied Portuguese, in some way, at least up to the intermediate level.
