Certifications - French

What is the CEFR?

The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is a standard that aims to serve as an international standard to measure the level of oral and written comprehension and expression in a language. It is part of the Council of Europe's language policy project, which has unified guidelines for language learning and teaching within the European context.

The Common European Framework of Reference establishes a scale of six common reference levels for the organization of language learning and homologation of the different qualifications issued by certified entities. The division is grouped into three blocks that respond to a more classic division of basic, intermediate and advanced levels, although they do not correspond exactly to the classic levels because they are located above or below them.

Why have an International Certification?

The difference between saying that you know a language and proving it is in the title. “I speak and write a language perfectly” is something that many reflect on their resume. But, the only way to have this certainty from companies or institutions that you have knowledge in a language is to have some certification that accredits its level.

Nowadays, language accreditation is an essential requirement when it comes to demonstrating linguistic competence of the language. The increasing demand for foreign language knowledge has given rise to certification processes that cover various types of exams and evaluation centers.
